Thank you, that is in

Your £10 has been paid and the check starts today.

What happens now

  1. We check the details by hand. That the business is real and that it trades from a Scottish address. It is the only thing the £10 pays for, and it is why this takes a few days rather than a few seconds.
  2. Your listing gains the tick, its own page and its panel in the results once the check is done. Nothing about where it appears changes, and nothing ever will.
  3. Two stickers go in the post, usually within three to five working days of the check.

One thing to send us

If you have not already, send us what you want on the page: a line about what the business does, your opening hours, a phone number, a website, and a photograph if you have one. Use the listing form and put the same trading name in it, so it matches the payment.

If the check fails

You get the £10 back in full, and we will tell you plainly why. The same promise is on the verification page. Anything wrong with the listing after it goes up, tell us and it is corrected at no charge.

The badge, if you want it on your own site

The page explaining the badge, with the one line of code for whoever looks after your website, is at The verified badge. There is no need to do anything with it: the stickers and the listing work either way.
